2014 Project: Visit to Children Special Centre
Babangida Avenue, Uyo, Akwa Ibom, Nigeria
At the Children Special Centre, the children representatives welcomed us. After introductions from both parties, we engaged in brief discussion and gave them words of encouragement. The donation was thereafter presented to them unbehalf of all the children at the Centre.

We are planning to undertake serious projects beyond just donations at the Center in 2015.
Aunty Emem Obot, representative of the Matron, Mrs. Mary Atan, expressed delight at the gesture.
We thank team members, friends and families who donated their time and resources to the success of the project.

This year (2013), Unyime&Friends would make efforts to:
1. Visit Inmates in the Prison Custody
Our prison custodies are congested with productive citizens, especially young people, who would have contributed immensely to the development of our communities. On the reverse, hopes are dashed as they spend years in prison custody, some without hope of securing bail or release.
Unyime&Friends is looking at reinvigorating their expectation, to share and give them opportunity to relate with people of the open and free society.
2. Visit Accident Victims in the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital (UUTH)
Everyday, we read stories and view clips of accident. Numerous lives have already been lost; some who survive are going through long-term pains.
Unyime&Friends is keen on using this opportunity to spend time with accident victims; and render assistance in whatever capacity to them.
